Windey’s Chairman Gao Ling and Her Delegation Visited China Merchants Group
On the morning of May 29, a delegation led by Gao Ling, Chairman of Zhejiang Windey Co., Ltd., Chen Qi, General Manager and the delegation visited leaders such as Miao Jianmin, Chairman of China Merchants Group, and held a symposium in Shenzhen. Li Bai'an, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Group, Liu Changsong, Minister of Industrial Development Department/Business Coordination Department of the Group, Hu Yong, General Manager and Zhao Yongbo, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Taipingwan Development & Investment Co., Ltd., Cheng Chenguang, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Windey Co., Ltd. and other persons attended the meeting.
Miao Jianmin warmly welcomed the visit of Gao Ling and her delegation, and highly recognized the contributions and achievements made by Windey in the field of new energy for a long time. He stressed that 2023 is the first year to comprehensively implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and also the beginning year of the new century journey of China Merchants Group. As a comprehensive enterprise with diversified businesses, China Merchants Group hopes to cooperate with Windey, gives full play to the technical and market advantages of state-owned assets and enterprises, and focuses on the extensive and in-depth cooperation in new energy industry in countries along the "the Belt and Road", and jointly promotes the high-quality development of China's energy economy.
Gao Ling expressed sincere gratitude to China Merchants Group for its trust and support to Windey, and introduced the overall development strategy and industrial investment of Windey. She stated that, as the earliest state-owned holding enterprise engaged in wind power technology research and product development in China, Windey has become a leading enterprise in the new energy field. She expects to work with China Merchants Group to respond to the national green and low-carbon development strategy and explore new technologies and cooperation models in the new energy field. Windey will continue to carry forward the spirit of “traveling through mountains and rivers, trying every means possible, speaking endless words and enduring countless hardships” of Zhejiang Merchants, adhere to the cooperation concept of "join forces, and complement each other's strengths and jointly build a zero-carbon future”. Starting from the cooperation with China Merchants Group on the Taipingwan Wind Power Industrial Park project, Windey will continue to promote the cooperation between the two sides to a higher level, deeper field and broader scope.
At the symposium, both sides also had in-depth exchanges on the investment and construction progress of the Taipingwan Wind Power Industrial Park project, the follow-up cooperation matters of the Djibouti new energy project, and the exploration of innovative demonstration cooperation models in the new energy field. Through discussions, both sides have reached a consensus on the concept of "mutual promotion, common development and win-win cooperation", will carry out in-depth cooperation in comprehensive energy solutions, new energy project investment and development, as well as green equipment industry, green hydrogen/alcohol production and other fields, build a new pattern of green development, and help China achieve its carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goal as soon as possible.
During the period, Gao Ling and her delegation were also invited to visit China Merchants History Museum.
